Full Disclosure: I am friends with game director Falco Girgis and a few other staff members working on Elysian Shadows.

The Elysian Shadows team has finally confirmed the date when their Kickstarter would be publicly revealed.

Starting on August 1st, we’ll be able to throw our money at the retro inspired yet next-generation focused JRPG of sorts, which is coming to the Sega Dreamcast, PC, and other potential development platforms.

Featured above, you can feast your eyes and ears on the latest episode of their ongoing Adventures in Game Development reality series of sorts. It’s pretty hilarious as usual, and very illuminating – they really don’t hide anything from the public when it comes to their game’s development.

While you can read more about the game in detail via our exclusive interview with the team, we still don’t really know anything about the Kickstarter itself.

Once it does go live, we’ll get an idea of their funding goal, stretch goals, as well as their planned development platforms aside from PC and Sega Dreamcast.
