Nitendo has announced a date for when Super Nintendo World is finally opening its doors in the United States next year.
The Universal Studios-based take on the iconic Nintendo universe is opening to the public on February 17th, 2023, in Universal Studios Hollywood.
Fans can expect the new theme park to include amenities from the Japanese location, including the Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge AR game, interactive games and elements, a retail store, and the Toadstool Cafe.
The Japan debut for Super Nintendo World was delayed multiple times due to COVID-19 fears, with the final delay happening mere months before they decided to just open the park anyway. The park successfully opened and COVID-19 wasn’t a problem.
Other locations for Super Nintendo World are still planned, like the previously confirmed Orlando location and the southeast asia location in Singapore.
