Konami has announced a new Suikoden Live broadcast set for next month, bringing with it the latest on the franchise and its projects.

Details are scant but the new broadcast will show a “variety of the latest information” for the series, and will air on August 5th at 8 PM Japan time / 4 AM Pacific / 7 AM Eastern, and you can watch it on YouTube. The broadcast will run for an hour and a half.

While Suikoden I & II HD Remaster: Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars was originally released in March 2025 across Windows PC (via Steam) and consoles (Get our review!), we’ll likely get new details on the forthcoming Suikoden STAR LEAP, which is in development for PC (via Steam), iOS, and Android.

There’s also the hotly-anticipated Suikoden anime adaptation, which is set in the Suikoden 2 storyline and is being co-produced by KONAMI animation studio and NBC Universal Entertainment Japan. We’ll likely see more of that during the broadcast. Maybe we’ll get a Suikoden 3 remaster confirmed?
