Valve’s wildly popular PC gaming platform Steam keeps growing through the years and it reached a new milestone today with 42 million concurrent online users.

The new milestone for Steam topping 42 million concurrent online users was confirmed by aggregator Steamdb, which also confirmed over 13 million users were playing games. Steam previously hit 40 million concurrent online users as of March 2025.

While there aren’t many huge releases this month, the wildly popular ARC Raiders launched last fall and keeps topping charts. There’s quite a few popular recent indie games too like BALL x PIT and DISPATCH.
