That sound you hear is legions of Sony fanboys crying out in anguish, as a new leak suggests a Returnal PC port is coming.

The new leak comes from SteamDB, and while it doesn’t explicitly say Returnal all over it – it does mention “Atropos”, the planet on which the cosmic horror shooter takes place – as well as its newer “Tower of Sisyphus” endless mode.

As with any PlayStation exclusive, a Returnal PC port will likely result in widespread backlash that a video game can be played by people who own a different plastic box with a computer inside.

Publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment has been aggressively embracing PC ports for their various IPs, they even purchased developers to focus entirely on porting games to Windows. The publisher even launched a new label entirely focused on their PC ports.
