Latinx Games Festival

Steam is hosting a “Latinx Games Festival” beginning November 21st through the weekend to the 23rd. The event is meant to highlight and give a platform to the “Latinx game development community”.

The games festival and sale was announced on Steam’s official Twitter account on the 21st. The splash page for the Latinx Games Festival features livestreamed panels at the top and games from the Hispanic and Brazilian communities.

Featured games include:

  • VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action
  • Neon City Riders
  • Monica e a Guarda dos Coelhos
  • Quantum League
  • Treachery in Beatdown City
  • and more

The Latinx Games Festival also highlights games that are anticipated to release in the near future, including:

  • N1RV Ann-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action
  • Unsighted
  • Lonesome Village
  • Tunche
  • Cris Tales

Latinx is considered by some to be the gender neutral adaptation of Latino/Latina to describe people from Central and South America.
