Steam Support has banned the upcoming adult visual novel Order Us!, presumably for featuring a 19 year old character who “has a flat chest and is slightly shorter”.
Steam made their decision only three days before the game’s inevitable launch and in spite of the fact that there’s been a demo available with no problem until now.

(1/4) It is with a heavy heart that I must announce our 18+ game, Order Us! – has been banned from Steam 3 days prior to release. I received this message from the review team yesterday morning. A demo build had been approved several months ago without complications. pic.twitter.com/gR6qJuChNs— Argent (@ArgentOrderUs) February 28, 2024
Steam has become increasingly strict when it comes to nude depictions of characters, breaking their past promise when it comes to content moderation.
If you’re a player, we shouldn’t be choosing for you what content you can or can’t buy. If you’re a developer, we shouldn’t be choosing what content you’re allowed to create. Those choices should be yours to make.
With that principle in mind, we’ve decided that the right approach is to allow everything onto the Steam Store, except for things that we decide are illegal, or straight up trolling.
Other recent censorship by Valve and Steam includes altering the trailer for The Scramble Vice and requiring content to be cut from Clover Day’s.
