Starfield leaker Darin Tyrone Harris has been arrested

Darin Tyrone Harris Starfield leak arrested

Darin Tyrone Harris, the man revealed as the Starfield leaker and who leaked the game’s first half hour, has now been arrested.

Starfield‘s first 30 minutes were leaked by Tyrone on a gameplay video, recorded with a phone pointed at his television screen.

Tyrone also had a store in the online platform Mercari, where he sold Starfield copies, including the deluxe edition, alongside other games.

Surprisingly, Tyrone’s arrest is not directly connected to Bethesda’s upcoming title, and instead to theft and marijuana possession. Tyrone admitted on social media that the games he sold were stolen from a warehouse he worked at.

Tyrone has also posted a short video, seemingly directed at Bethesda’s director Todd Howard, praising the game:

At the moment, it is unknown if Tyrone will serve time for his arrest.

Starfield is set to launch on September 6th on Windows PC and Xbox Series X|S.
