Stardew Valley 1.5 update finally makes its way to mobile devices

Stardew Valley

The 1.5 update for Stardew Valley has been available on most platforms outside of iOS and Android since the end of 2020.

Only now, the mobile editions of the game have are finally getting the highly anticipated update, just over 2 years since it first released.

Developer ConcernedApe confirmed the update has been submitted to their respective platforms, meaning it should be rolling out in the coming days on both devices.

Android users will need to do a one time save data transfer though due to some changes in file access rules.

ConcernedApe also stated that this update led to a large rewriting to the engines for the mobile editions of Stardew Valley.  This was why it took so long, but should also help reduce the time it takes for when update 1.6 releases.

The sole developer teased potential future updates. While the game is still getting work for updates, ConcernedApe is also working on a new game titled Haunted Chocolatier.

Stardew Valley has been available since 2016 for Windows PC (via GOG, and Steam) Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, Android, and iOS – as well as more recently on Xbox Game Pass.
