Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass: Side Order is coming Spring 2024

Splatoon 3: Side Order DLC

Splatoon 3 announced their upcoming Expansion Pass DLC “Side Order” is coming Spring 2024 during the latest Nintendo Direct.

“Side Order” continues the story set in motion during the Final Fest from Splatoon 2, where players got to decide the direction the story would take. The post-apocalyptic and punk aesthetic of Splatoon 3 is meant to represent Chaos after it won in the Final Fest battle of Chaos vs. Order.

This new DLC represents Order and may be giving us a peek at what could have been had Order won the Final Fest.

You can check out the trailer for Splatoon 3: Side Order below.

A new single-player campaign called Side Order super jumps to the Splatoon 3 game in the second wave of this DLC. See what has become of Inkopolis Square, the central area featured in the Splatoon 2 game!

The new adventure will feature single player missions and replayability. During the trailer we see what looks like a Roguelite sort of menu where players select incremental buffs to basic stats as they ascend the tower.

The Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass: Side Order DLC is expected to release sometime in Spring 2024. Splatoon 3 is available now on Nintendo Switch.
