THQ Nordic and Grimlore Games have released the massive SpellForce 3 Reforced update, adding even more content to their RTS/RPG hybrid game.

The Reforced update is a massive free addition to the base game, which released back in 2017, and has since spawned two expansion packs. Reforced adds a wide range of updates to the base game inspired by mechanics introduced in the expansions. Some of these changes include improved crafting, reworked skill trees, rebalanced loot distribution and quest flow, better AI, and the updated UI design introduced in the expansions.

Reforced also features some totally new content, including the Bitter Canyon map, a highly replayable Journey Mode similar to the original SpellForce‘s Free Game Mode, a wave-based Arena Mode, full controller support, and expanded mod options.

It’s worth reiterating that SpellForce 3 Reforced is also coming to consoles and was supposed to launch today, however the console release was delayed to March 8th, 2022 across Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.

SpellForce 3 – The perfect blend between RTS and RPG!

It is the year 518. The rebellion of the renegade mages, known as the Mage Wars, has been quashed by the Crown.
