SpellForce 3: Fallen God Standalone DLC Expansion Announced

SpellForce 3: Fallen God

THQ Nordic have announced Fallen God, the second standalone DLC expansion to Grimlore Games’ 2017 RTS/RPG hybrid, SpellForce 3.

Fallen God introduces the Moonkin Trolls, a nomadic race that live on the continent of Urgath. The single player campaign follows the young chieftain Akrog as he tries to save his race.

The trolls are constantly hunted for their tusks, and are being devastated by a deadly plague. It is in these dark times when a mysterious elf comes to Akrog, and offers him a way to bring salvation to his tribe by resurrecting a dead god.

The campaign promises around 15 hours of content, multiple endings, and some unique mechanics. As nomadic scavengers, the Moonkin Trolls will have crafting mechanics, allowing them to salvage broken items and equipment to forge weapons and gear for their hero units.

As with the previous expansion, Soul Harvest, Fallen God will be completely standalone. Players will not need the original SpellForce 3 to play, and the story is unconnected with the main game and the previous expansion.

You can find an announcement trailer below.

You can find a rundown of the expansion (via Steam) below:

Your dwindling, nomadic tribe of trolls has just one goal: survival. Plagued by vicious poachers for your precious tusks and weakened by disease, hope is almost lost – until an enigmatic Elven stranger offers you, the young chieftain Akrog, a path to salvation: you must resurrect a fallen god.
