Bandai Namco have confirmed that Soul Calibur V will be permanently delisted for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on June 19th. Its associated DLC will also be unavailable for purchase as well.

Valiant Warriors – Soul Calibur V is taking its final curtain call on the stage of history and will be sunset on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on June 19, 2023. The base game and all associated DLC will no longer be available for purchase. Thank you for your continued support.

Soul Calibur V launched back in 2012 only for those consoles and have not seen any support towards bringing it via backwards compatibility for newer consoles such as the Xbox One/Xbox Series. Nor has it ever received a PC port like its sequel did.

This news may be unfortunate, but at least those who already own the game either physically or digitally should still have access to their purchase after the planned delisting date. Those not wanting to miss out can still purchase it as of this writing.

While this may be bad news for fans of the older titles for this franchise. There is still some hope with rumors indicating a remaster of the original game is in the works.
