Sons of the Forest launched in Early Access after numerous delays just days ago, yet it has seen much success in sales.
The game saw a peak player count of over 350,000 players and now it’s revealed to have sold over 2 million units in just the first 24 hours since launch.
Developer Endnight Games announced this milestone on Twitter, during which they also promised their many fans of exciting things for the coming months.
Previously Sons of the Forest was set to have a full launch, but was changed to Early Access with Endnight Games planning it remain in early access for roughly 6-8 months before officially launching the game, in a completed state.
Given the relatively short time and original plans to launch earlier, it’s likely there will be many additions during their stint in Early Access.
Sons of the Forest is available now on PC (via Steam) in Early Access.
