When you think of post apocalyptic fiction, the general image most people put in their heads is a barren, brown wasteland. Noel Berry’s Skytorn is definitely not that, and the game is coming to PS4.

Featured above, you can view a new trailer for the procedurally generated, post-apocalyptic adventure. The game is in development from mostly the same crew that brought us TowerFall and Night in the Woods, via their Vancouver-based collaborative, IndieHouse.

“Our goal is to make a platform adventure game that is focused very heavily on combat, control, and exploration,” Berry said on the PlayStation Blog. “We want the world to feel alive and dangerous, and let the player traverse it in interesting ways. Every time you play, you’ll discover a whole new island in the sky, with new dungeons and challenges to explore and overcome.”

In the game, you play as a traveler who makes use of her shovel to dig through various terrains, and fight off monsters. As you explore, you’ll find new enchantments for your shovel, and hopefully a purpose for your existence?

A release date was not confirmed.
