Skull and Bones gets a closed beta this summer

Skull and Bones

Publisher Ubisoft and developer Ubisoft Singapore announced a closed beta for Skull and Bones is coming this summer.

The multiplayer piracy game is running a closed beta from August 25th through the 28th for all platforms, and registration is available over on its official site.

Here’s a rundown on the game, plus a new sea shanty trailer:

Enter the perilous paradise of Skull and Bones™, inspired by the Indian Ocean during the Golden Age of Piracy, as you overcome the odds and rise from an outcast to an infamous pirate.

  • Grow your infamy to gain access to more resources as you take on riskier contracts to gain the most loot.
  • Craft up to 10 ships and customize them with a variety of weapons and armor to maximize your chances for success.
  • Sail solo or team up with two friends in either PvE or PvEvP.

Skull and Bones is launching sometime in the company’s next fiscal year, for Windows PC (via the Ubisoft Store and the Epic Games Store), Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Luna.
