Jiro Ishii has announced the main cast for Shibuya Scramble Stories, his hotly anticipated “Shibuya Live-Action Adventure Game.”
The new live-action thriller adventure game will include five playable characters:
- Kousei Amano as Kaiji Kayama the Taxi Driver
- Yuuto Nakamura as Aren Ando the Lawyer
- Fumio Kitagami as Midori Midosuji the Journalist
- Masaru Matsuda as Ban Baba “The Man”
- Yosuke Kubozuka as Gin Ginbara the Novelist
While the previously announced live-action adventure game was successfully crowdfunded via Ubgoe in spring 2025, issues with payment from the platform led to doubts on its viability but haven’t held up development on the game, according to a recent update.
