We’ve learned Sega will announce a new RPG at TGS 2021, news confirmed via their official livestream schedule for the event.
The news that Sega will announce a new RPG at TGS 2021 is listed under the “Sega News Tokyo Game Show Special” event, which says:
SEGA’s game news variety show “SEGA News” will deliver information on the latest titles from SEGA and Atlus as a TGS special program! There will also be an announcement of “Sega’s new RPG”.
The announcement of Sega’s new RPG is coming on October 1st at 10 PM Japan time.
Considering Sega now owns Atlus, their new RPG could be anything from their library of RPG franchises at both companies, which include series like Sakura Wars, Shin Megami Tensei, Shin Megami Tensei Persona, Phantasy Star, and more.
Tokyo Game Show 2021 is scheduled for September 30 to October 3, and will be broadcasted only online.
