• Sega is officially acquiring Rovio for €706 million

    Hot on the heels of our previous report, Sega has officially announced they’re trying to acquire Angry Birds developer Rovio

    Parenty company Sega Sammy Holdings is looking to buy the Finnish mobile games developer for €706 million (roughly $771 million).

    If approved by regulators, the new acquisition is set to close sometime in the second quarter of the 2023/24 fiscal year.
