Baldur’s Gate 3‘s Collector’s Edition costs $269, but what happens when the stock ends?
As we can see through eBay, what happens is that scalpers start cranking up the prices higher than they’ve ever been, eventually reaching $2,000 on this listing.
The other listings are still averaging between $1,000 – $1,500, but you’re still better off waiting for a restock.
It’s always good to remember that FOMO is a real practice used by people to capitalize on time-limited events or products with low stock, and the best course of action is to never engage with these prices.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is available now on Windows PC (via Steam). The PS5 and Xbox Series X/S releases are coming at a later date.
