SacriFire reveals more gameplay at Six One Indie Showcase

Sacrifire

After years of development, SacriFire is finally looking closer than ever to release. The upcoming RPG from Pixelated Milk made another appearance during the Six One Indie Showcase, giving players a new look at one of the most promising retro-inspired role-playing games currently in development.

The latest trailer once again highlights the game’s stunning visual presentation. Pixelated Milk blends traditional pixel art with modern 2.5D techniques, creating environments that feel both classic and surprisingly cinematic.

Instead of relying entirely on traditional turn-based encounters, the game combines strategic command-based mechanics with real-time movement and action elements which was also shown in the trailer.

Adding even more weight to the project is legendary composer Motoi Sakuraba, whose work on franchises such as Star Ocean, Tales, and Dark Souls has made him one of gaming’s most recognizable composers.

SacriFire is currently targeting a 2026 release on PC via Steam and GOG, with console versions planned for a later date.
