Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma released a new trailer, showing fans the kind of gameplay they can expect.
Until now, the game has been known only as “Project Dragon” and will contain many of the mechanics that fans of the Rune Factory series have come to expect including farming, romance, and town festivals.
However rather than emphasizing farming, the two playable characters Subaru and Kaguya communicate with the runes by dancing rather than strictly farming. You can check out the trailer for Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma below.

While the game bears the Rune Factory title, this won’t be the sixth main installment which still hasn’t been revealed. Recently Marvelous has gone all in with expanding the Rune Factory franchise and lore with spin-off games from the main series such as the recent Silent Hope.
Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma is expected to release in Spring 2025 on PC (via Steam) and Nintendo Switch
