According to alleged industry sources, a PlayStation 5 Pro could possibly be coming out late next year.
Tom Henderson from Insider Gaming has reportedly confirmed that the console will be coming with a late 2024 release window.
Previous leaks and rumors indicated that the upcoming upgraded home console could possibly feature an optional disk drive.
To make matters even more interesting, a patent filed by PlayStation architect Mark Cerny seems to indicate that any new PS5 model would improve its raytracing capabilities.
The PS4 Pro released roughly 3 years after the PS4. With the supply chain and chip shortages putting a dampener on the gaming industry until only recently; a late 2024 release seems in-line with what we would expect.
