Publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Kou Shibusawa have announced a delay for their Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake.

The new Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake will forgo its planned early 2024 release for one sometime later next year. When the remake does launch it’ll be on Windows PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5.

We would like to inform you that we have changed the release date of Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake from “Early 2024” to “2024”.

We are pleased to announce that the Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake, the first large-scale remake of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series, is now scheduled to be released in 2024.

We have decided that it is necessary to further improve the quality of the game in order to satisfy our fans. We will announce the release date in due course. We will announce the release date as soon as possible, so please wait for a while. We appreciate your patience as we announce the release date.
