More rumors for Resident Evil 9 have come courtesy from a well-known leaker who has previously shared correct information on Resident Evil games prior to release.

The individual sharing the rumors clarified one of their previous remarks, explaining they don’t believe the next game will be a direct sequel to 8, and that both 8 and 9 were planned together to “bring a conclusion to the current story arc.” Here’s their teases:

The platforms and launch date haven’t yet been declared for Resident Evil 9, but the leaker suggested the game won’t be finished before 2025.
