North American video game sales figures and charts have been released by Circana (formerly known as NPD Group), which reveal data for sales of games and consoles.
When it comes to the game sales charts, the newly released Remnant II tops the charts, beating out Diablo IV after the latter has only been released since the start of June.
Here’s the list of best selling games for the month of July 2023:
- Remnant II
- Diablo IV
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II
- Hogwarts Legacy
- Final Fantasy XVI
- Pikmin 4
- The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
- Street Fighter 6
- Elden Ring
- MLB The Show 23
- Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- Call of Duty: Black Ops II
- Minecraft
- FIFA 23
- Exoprimal
- Spider-Man: Miles Morales
- Spider-Man
- Dead Island 2
- Call of Duty: Black Ops III
Sales for Hogwarts Legacy continue to remain strong despite controversy and being released early this year. Pikmin 4 also sees rather strong sales for a smaller console exclusive and Exoprimal disappoints, falling behind many older games despite launching in July.
Here’s the sales charts for 2023 so far:
- Hogwarts Legacy
- The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
- Diablo IV
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II
- Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
- Resident Evil 4
- MLB The Show 23
- Dead Island 2
- Final Fantasy XVI
- Street Fighter 6
Hogwarts Legacy remains at the top, but impressively the latest Legend of Zelda title is right behind despite launching months later and being available for only one console.
Surprisingly, Dead Island 2 is still ahead of the likes of Final Fantasy XVI and Street Fighter 6, but it remains seen if it’ll continue to hold that lead.
