October 24, 2016 at 12:09 pmThat’s a pretty standard Limited Edition. If there is an actual card saying “DLC” in it, it would be quite funny.

October 24, 2016 at 1:16 pmIts a Nippon Ichi game so no doubt NISA will bring the game over.
Most of the dialogue will probably be refurbished into memes and censorship will likely rear its head it more than once. Flip a coin and if it lands on heads then there’ll probably be one or two US exclusive glitches, some of which might be game breaking if we consider what happened with the first Witch and Hundred Knight.

October 24, 2016 at 1:22 pmNIS America needs to die. That evil needs to be eradicated from the face of this planet . Every Soul on Earth wants NIS America dead. To bring destruction to NIS America that is my raison d’etre.

October 24, 2016 at 1:27 pm10,200 yen? Is that extra 200 necessary?

October 24, 2016 at 4:31 pmGorgeous box art, as usual. Hopefully the inevitable localization retains the artwork unlike the recent PS4 re-release, which disappointingly opted for a less interesting cover.
Pretty standard LE all around. I enjoyed the first game after the PS4 version released, so I’ll probably pick this up too.

October 24, 2016 at 4:33 pmThe PS3 version was rife with game-crashing bugs and terrible performance all around, but the newer PS4 version fixes those and is much nicer to play. It’s a pretty grindy ARPG but if you can get into the systems the story is actually decent and the characters are really fun.

October 24, 2016 at 5:47 pmDo you need to play the first to understand the story?

October 24, 2016 at 5:48 pmYes because that $2 or so goes to the poor starving devs.

October 24, 2016 at 5:53 pmFrom the so far released details, no. It seems to be set in a different world or time and aside from the titular Hundred Knight no recurring characters are revealed yet.
I wouldn’t be terribly surprised if there’s a link to the first game or cameos, but otherwise they seem to be standalone stories.

October 25, 2016 at 4:59 pmSadly the alchemical arts of shitty localisations turns NIS into NISA.
FAA will make carrying copies of this game on board a plane illegal due to fire hazard.
