Marvelous producer Kenichiro Takaki has confirmed some wonderful news – Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash has gone gold.

This means the game’s development and code is finalized and ready to be put onto game discs, for distribution.

The news was confirmed via an interview with Gamer.ne, where Takaki confirmed the game has gone gold, and there won’t be a delay. Takaki also added that lots of things have yet to be revealed for the game, including lots of collaborations with other properties.

Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash is launching for PlayStation 4 in Japan on March 16th, and is coming in various editions. It’s worth mentioning a western and Asian release are coming as well.

Ok Xseed/Marvelous, we need it here in the west too. For both PS4 and PC

Awesome! Can’t wait for the Western release. Hopefully there will be a collector’s edition. Still curious to know what the VR features will be like.

“including lots of collaborations with other properties.”

This might be potential bad news for the western versions, depending on whether or not they can get the licenses to use said properties in the west. The Ikkitousen characters were omitted from EV because of such.

They’ve been putting the series on PC lately. Lots of people are expecting a PC announcement eventually.

Did they just remove the content or was it replaced with something?

I’ll probably skip this one unless the gameplay is compelling, as the series appears to be nothing but pure fanservice at this point.

I love how these types of a games can flourish along side very western games which have lots of violence and guns all on one console. That’s why I love Playstation. Such diversity.

Nothing removed from the base game, it was a paid DLC (3 bonus characters) in the JP version that was never released outside.

Ikkitousen is a very special case of a gigantic legal mess though, so I wouldn’t worry about collaborations in general. SKEV had no issue including Ayane from DOA or some other collaboration outfits.

I know it was confirmed, but there’s still no release date for us, thats why i wrote that. Also, Shinobi Versus was PS Vita exclusive on its moment, and now is on PC too, same as bon appetit. So, maybe there’s chance for this game too

They only put the shinovi versus and Bon Apetit, but Estival versus, Burst and Deep Crimson are still on console only

I guess I should’ve clarified that the Ikkitousen characters were paid DLC. However, this DLC wasn’t available in western versions of the game due to them (Xseed/Marvelous) not being able to acquire the licensing rights from the Ikkitousen IP-holders to use their characters in the English version. The IP-holders just flat-out said “no”. Basically, licensing and contracts are a b****

I wouldn’t say that… even though Estival Versus took a break from the more serious story, it still served to Set up future events (with the whole “Giant Yoma falling from the sky in the future”). If I had to make a comparasson, it feels to me that Estival Versus and PBS are like “Kingdom Hearts Coded and Dream Drop Distance” in the sense that they are smaller stories that serve to set up the stage for a possible Senran Kagura 3 (which I assume will be on the Switch)

They recently confirmed that they finally got the licensing down for the Ikkitousen characters and they’ll be available for PS4 and Vita when the PC Version comes out.

Does those games use the touch screen (any important stuff), or its just to show stuff? I havent played them so i dont know. Games like Code Of Princess and Azure Strike Gunvolt where released on Steam without problems and basically the lower screen is useless.

The touch screen was used to show combo and menu navigation not something very deep
