Rec Room Make it to Midnight

Hunt or be hunted in the new 4v1 horror-themed game Make it to Midnight.

Much like Roblox or Dreams, Rec Room allows users to create their own games, with Make it to Midnight being only one of the many user-created experiences available.

Make it to Midnight is available on Rec Room through Android, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Meta Quest, Xbox One, iOS, Xbox Series X/S, and Microsoft Windows (through Steam).

Here’s a rundown on the game, plus its reveal trailer:

Rec Room, the leading virtual world, games and user-generated content platform announced the eagerly awaited release of their newest Rec Room Original – Make it to Midnight: a spine-chilling 4v1 horror-themed game. Set in the abandoned Rec County Fairground, players will either choose to be a survivor and work with others to power up generators and escape or become Bonky the Clown, hunting others. Players will experience intense thrills while progressing by unlocking perks and outsmarting opponents.

Built using Rec Room Studio, the same creation suite available to the Rec Room Community, this new addition to the Rec Room Original series promises to deliver an unforgettable experience while also introducing new tools for creators from progression systems to enhanced gameplay features.

“At Rec Room, developing original content like Make it to Midnight allows us to focus on delivering exciting new capabilities for our creators,” said Morgan Tucker, Head of User Generated Content at Rec Room. “Our goal is for these tools to abstract away complexity and let our community do what they do best – imagine and create. This expansion reflects our commitment to empowering creators with tools that let them push the boundaries of immersive, cross-platform game development.
