Another visual novel is being censored so that it can be available on Steam, with the game Criminal Border 1st Offence having its name changed to Liminal Border Part I.
Individuals on Twitter revealed that the game’s name was going to be changed for the Steam release only, no doubt due to the service’s strict censorship when it comes to titles with anime-style aesthetics:
Many blamed publisher Shiravune for this censorship, considering their previous censorious/questionable actions in the past. The same Twitter user also shared one of the publisher’s previous failures:
Criminal Border 1st Offence is being developed by Purple Software and will launch on Steam November 13th as Liminal Border Part I.
