Puppet Combo’s Christmas Massacre blocked on Microsoft and Nintendo stores

Christmas Massacre

Developer Puppet Combo has noted through Twitter that their game Christmas Massacre has been denied release on Xbox consoles and the Nintendo Switch.

Puppet Combo are well-known for creating tons of retro-style horror games, many of which can be rather graphic and gory.

The developer announced that Christmas Massacre is coming to PlayStation on November 17th, and also released a special trailer.

In the comments, the developer noted to prospective buyers that the game is not coming to the Nintendo Switch or Xbox consoles because those in charge denied them:

The graphic and gory content seems to be responsible, despite the Xbox consoles and Nintendo Switch (as well as the PS5) all having highly gory games available (such as Mortal Kombat 1).

Some commenters also stated that both the Nintendo eShop and Xbox already have a few Puppet Combo games already.

Christmas Massacre will arrive on the PS5 come November 17th.
