Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced PS5 has managed to ship over 46. million units, a new milestone recorded in their latest financial briefing.

The PS5 console has shipped over 46.6 million units in the financial period ending in September of this year. A previous milestone was 41.7 million units shipped back in August 2023.

A total of 4.9 million PS5 consoles were shipped in this time frame, an increase of 1.6 million consoles since the same period last year.
