Iilfonic have announced the first piece of DLC and a free update for Predator: Hunting Grounds, including the involvement of Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The news comes via PlayStation Blog, written by Illfonic’s Chief Creative Officer Jared Gerritzen. Both the free update and DLC center around Dutch, the main character from the first film, and played once again by Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The free update will teach players where Dutch has been between the events of the first movie and this game. Players can “his story in his own words through a series of voice tapes that you earn as you level up.”
The DLC will let players play as Dutch, and grants early access to the QR5 Hammerhead Rifle, and Dutch’s Knife. The equipment will be free for all players “later in June.” Both the free update and DLC will launch May 26th.
A further three pairs of free updates and DLCs will be coming in June, July, and August, with more content promised after that. The free updates will introduce new weapons, game modes, and more. Future DLC is also implied to be “themed character packs.” More details will be revealed at a later date.
