The upcoming anime series Pokemon Horizons has released a new trailer with a closer look at the animation and characters Liko and Roy.

The upcoming series was announced as Pokemon Journeys reaches its end, along with the saga of Ash and Pikachu that has been going for roughly 25 years.

Liko is a young girl who’s given a mysterious pendant that appears to be tied to Rayquaza. Meanwhile Roy wants to challenge himself against the greatest Pokemon that ever lived.

Together, the two appear to get themselves involved with a small organization that uncovers the mysteries of the Pokemon World.

Pokemon Horizons is expected to premiere sometime this year.
