Things are not looking good for PlayStation developer Visual Arts. A number of developers have announced they’ve been laid off by the company in another wave of layoffs.

Earlier this year, we reported on the developer suffering from layoffs as a result of Sony pivoting towards development on a AAA multiplayer project.

Some assumed this would affect the upcoming The Last of Us multiplayer project from Naughty Dog, but a listed role within the company implied otherwise.

Either way, this is now the second wave of layoffs for the company in under the span of six months. While it’s not entirely known for the reason of the layoffs, one can assume it’s related to the string of layoffs affecting the gaming industry as a whole.

Visual Arts has been best known for their aid in bring The Last of Us back in 2013.
