Capcom has published a new Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney 20th anniversary site, sharing artwork and a message from the development team on the beloved franchise.
The new Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney 20th anniversary site is now available and will get updated later with a series history portion, going over all the previously released games and characters. To celebrate, the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy is currently on sale – read more about that here.
The original Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney launched for the Game Boy Advanced back on October 12th, 2001, in Japan. The western release didn’t happen until several years later on the Nintendo DS, in 2005 (it was also re-released for the DS in Japan as well).
Here’s a message from the development team:
Greetings,
Today, “Ace Attorney” celebrates its 20th anniversary.
It is our sincere pleasure to know that, 20 years after its birth, “Ace Attorney” continues to receive tremendous love and support from its many passionate fans.
“Ace Attorney” has been developed not only as a game, but also as an animated television series, a manga, a live-action movie, a stage show, a puzzle solving event, and an orchestra.
We have been able to develop the “Ace Attorney” series in a variety of ways.
We believe this is a testament to the support of many people, and not something that Capcom could have done alone. I am truly grateful.
We will continue to make every effort to make the Ace Attorney series enjoyable in various ways, and we hope that you will continue to support us for many years to come.
