• Persona 5 Becomes Atlus’ Best Selling Game in Japan

    If you can recall a couple weeks back, we reported that Persona 5 was the fastest selling game in the franchise, with 337k sales in the first 3 days.

    Well after a couple of weeks, not only has it become the best selling Persona game, but it is now the company’s best selling game ever in Japan.

    As of writing this, Persona 5 has sold 437k copies across both platforms, not including digital sales.

    To visualize this, the chart above (courtesy of Persona Central) shows Persona 5’s sales numbers compared to the six highest selling Atlus games in Japan.

    Persona 5 is set to release in North America and Europe on February 14th, 2017 for the PS3 and PS4.
