    Pocketpair is seemingly turning their April Fools joke from last year into reality with Pal♡world! ~More Than Just Pals~ announced for PC.

    Last year, Pocketpair released an April Fools joke announcing this game, but now they’ve released a new trailer and even a Steam store page as we approach the 1 year anniversary of the joke.

    At the time of writing, it’s only about 10:00PM on March 31 in Japan, so perhaps against our better judgement we’re assuming that Pocketpair is sincere this time.

    Keeping in-line with the gross humor of Palworld, the new dating sim will feature more than just romance, but also scenes of dismemberment and vore.

    You, the protagonist, enrol as a transfer student in the prestigious Palagos Private Academy.  You will meet unique friends (pals) and enjoy school life through friendship and romance. It’s up to you whether you stay friends with the pals, develop romantic relationships with them, or even dismember and eat them.

    Last year, the trailer claimed the launch date would be April 1, but between the now “In Development” disclaimer, as well as a Lovander body pillow giveaway running until April 14… Pocketpair is playing this a little too straight for a joke.

    Palworld has been available for Windows PC (via Steam and the Microsoft Store), Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. The game has also been on Xbox Game Pass since day one.

    The dating sim doesn’t yet have a release date.
