Pal Fluids are an important early game item in Palworld, and here’s how you can get them.
Despite the gross-sounding name, Pal Fluids are required to progress in Palworld, especially when it comes to items that involve water.
The first time you’ll need Pal Fluids will be when upgrading your base, as it takes 10 vials to build a hot spring.
The hot spring is an incredibly important item because it helps to regulate the sanity of your pals, as they lose it slowly while working.
Pal Fluids can be acquired from knocking out water-type pals, with the easiest ones being the Pengullets.
Pengullets are found around bodies of water in Palworld‘s early game, but run away whenever they spot a player.
The easiest way to knock out a Pengullet is to hit it with a ranged attack, be it from one of your captured pals or by shooting arrows at it.
If those aren’t reasonable options for you, then consider waiting until it’s dark, as they gather around to sleep around bodies of water.
Do make sure to set aside some time to actually capture a few Pengullets, as they happen to be extremely useful due to their ice and water hybrid type.
Palworld was just released on January 19th, for Windows PC (via Steam and the Microsoft Store), Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The game is also on Xbox Game Pass.
