PAC-MAN Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs is a brand new PAC-MAN battle royale, but it doesn’t even have enough PC players for a lobby.
PAC-MAN Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs released earlier this month, which may come as a surprise as fans have called out Bandai Namco for their poor marketing with the game (probably distracted with the new Elden Ring DLC).
The result? A game that’s not just dead, it hasn’t even been alive. PAC-MAN fan account Daily Pac-Man noticed the trend on Steam Charts. While the game hypes up players for intense 64-player battle royales, its all-time record on Steam is just 52 concurrent players.
According to SteamDB at the time of this writing, the all-time peak player count for Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs on PC has yet to reach the game's 64-player quota.

PAC-MAN Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs was seemingly intended to be a successor to the Nintendo Switch’s popular PAC-MAN 99 game which ended its online service around the same time Chomp Champs was announced.
It is worth mentioning that the game does appear to have cross-platform multiplayer, and hopefully between Steam and Nintendo Switch there’s enough players that someone is able to enjoy the game.
