Season 4 of Overwatch 2 is set to begin in just a few days, so Blizzard has revealed what to expect for this coming update to the game.
The biggest piece of news has already been announced with the addition of new playable hero Lifeweaver.
With a new season also comes new battle pass, balance changes, and upcoming events which will occurring in the coming months.
Here’s the reveal trailer for season 4:
Players will be able to enjoy events surrounding the Thai New Year, gardening, a sci-fi inspired battle, the return of Battle for Olympus, and Overwatch 2’s first pride event during season 4. All of which will comes with rewards for participation.
Notable balance changes include reverting the changes they did to Mercy in the beginning of season 3, giving her back her mobility, and reworking Brigitte’s ultimate ability to give her a larger shield and ability to stun enemies.
Finally, there is also the addition of new maps, one for the Thai New Year and one that is a community designed map by the Twitch community called Talantis.
Season 4 of Overwatch 2 begins on April 11th. The game has been available since October 2022 for Windows PC (via Battle.net), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
