Telltale Publishing (Telltale Games’ publishing branch) and developer The Fun Pimps have announced they’re bringing Kickstarter-funded 7 Days to Die to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The game will be released via both retail and digital storefronts sometime this June, and it will cost $29.99. Featured above, you can view the game’s console release announcement trailer.
The new console version of the game adds a new multiplayer mode which enables local split-screen gameplay, with some other new online features and multiplayer modes which are set to be revealed in the coming weeks. The developer is also planning post-launch DLC.
Here’s a brief synopsis for the game, via Telltale:
Set in a brutally unforgiving post-apocalyptic world overrun by the undead, 7 Days to Die is an open-world survival game that is a unique combination of first person shooter, survival horror, tower defense, and role-playing games. It presents combat, crafting, looting, mining, exploration, and character growth, in a way that has seen a rapturous response from fans worldwide, generating hundreds of thousands of hours of community content on YouTube and other streaming video platforms.
Naturally, if you pre-order the game, you’ll get exclusive access to five character skins from Telltale’s The Walking Dead, which include Michonne and Lee Everett.
