Nintendo has announced Nintendo Switch Online adds The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask in February 2022.

While Nintendo Switch Online adds The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask in February 2022, specifically February 25th, this is the first time the game has been re-released since 2016.

The original game was released for the Nintendo 64 back in October of 2000, and it was first re-released for the Wii’s Virtual Console in 2009 as part of The Legend of Zelda: Collector’s Edition, and was even later re-released for the 3DS as The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D, and was lastly re-released for the Wii U’s Virtual Console in 2016.

Nintendo 64 – Nintendo Switch Online is part of the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, a new subscription tier that launched in October 2021. It adds classic Nintendo 64 alongside Sega Genesis games to Nintendo’s online service.
