The NieR anime, titled NieR: Automata Ver1.1a, has been on hiatus since March of 2023, with A-1 pictures claiming they had problems with Covid-19.

Thankfully, the anime was finally able to wrap up, and the last four episodes were all released at once this past week.

The distant future, 5012.

The sudden aerial invasion of Earth by <Aliens> and their creations <Machine Lifeforms> led mankind to the brink of extinction. Anime fans may also remember Uncle from Another World, another title that suffered from multiple delays also due to Covid-19.
