Before anyone says I’m like whispering — still recovering from a sinus infection and my throat is still a bit sore/itchy so I was trying to take it easy on this one.

Are you gonna do a write-up on Fighting EX Layer, like first impressions? I’ve only touched Training Mode, but it’s a lot of fun.

We really went over the limit here.

Wasn’t it 1.2GB raw, uncompressed audio?

    Woooooooo dawg.

I’m pretty sad by the lack of news coverage towards EDF5 because this title really became my GOTY 2017. It’s a massive improvement over 4.1 which was already a fun good game to begin with.

It surprised me quite a bit. I expected the Gougi system to be broken, but in fact it works rather well.

I’ve been having a lot of fun testing combos, mainly with Shirase. Cancelling supers into supers is always an excellent idea.

I’m more of a Skullomania person myself. I still can’t figure out which Gougi setup is best for him. The rush-down and the infinite meter ones produced the best results for me.

I’ve only fiddled with Aggro because I like the damage output.

Not to be an asshole, but that thing with the voice you do when trying to show how other people whining sound to you, got old pretty fast. I think you did it around 8 times before the one hour mark.

Duly noted — I didn’t mean to do it so much. Getting my chops back since this is the first real podcast in a long time heh. Once we do these more weekly I think we’ll just roll with it like we used to. Hope you enjoyed it otherwise?
