Atlas usa’s last few releases sold poorly. Odin sphere, apocalypse, and KOF XIV

It’s nice they’ll finally get a big hit again even if it’s still four months away.

Really? I remember Odin Sphere and KOF being raved about. I heard less about Apocalypse, but I heard it was good as well.

Which is surprising because I thought 3 and 4’s dubs were actually pretty good. Though that seems to be an ongoing trend now a days. VAs aren’t what they used to be.

Yep. Glad we are getting dual audio, but I’m still hesitant if there’s censorship.

KOF sold like 40k in the US. I mean I guess that’s successful compared to arksys games. Odin Sphere I honestly don’t know the numbers for, I assume it didn’t do well in the US based on what was said in a apocalypse promotion joke video(I probably shouldn’t have taken it too seriously) where they’re discussing what they should call the title

Why, though I find the candid blog from XSEED comfy, do I find myself cringing at this video?

I miss that Aaron guy. He was corny but professional.
This video is – well it’s the English equivalent to the cringe promotional stuff Atlus JP produces (like their giggling, hugging lives streams). It fits. It’s just terrible.

I hate pre order bonuses. At least with most japanese games none of the DLC is worth anything.

They try to hard to voice record like the Japanese VA. Dont do that is sounds horrible when westerns do it. The voices should be more natural in my language, not trying to imitate japanese into English,
