Ys Net has shared a new developer diary video that shows off the game’s character facial animations.

Featured above, the new trailer shows off a female character’s facial animations – a video focused on what many commentators where making fun of in the game’s first teaser trailer (it lacked any facial animations).

It’s worth reiterating that both the first teaser trailer and the new character models are still a work-in-progress.

Shenmue III is launching for PC and PlayStation 4 sometime in the second half of next year. In related news, Deep Silver picked up the game’s publishing duties.
