Full Disclosure: I have financially backed Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night on Kickstarter.

Inti Creates have revealed a new trailer for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night ahead of this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo.

Featured above, the new trailer showcases the latest build of the upcoming Castlevania-inspired action-platforming game. Naturally inspired by Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, the game is looking to further the metroidvania genre beyond what fans have ever seen before.

Game creator and director Koji Igarashi recently confirmed development on the title is roughly 20-30% complete – you can read more about that here.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is launching sometime next year, across PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 4, PS Vita, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch.
