Netflix has announced a sequel to the stop-motion classic from 2000 Chicken Run titled Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget.

The film is the latest from filmmaker Nick Park who created the original movie and is also known as the creator of the Wallace & Gromit series of short films.

The new movie takes place at some nebulous point in time after the events of the first Chicken Run movie and includes Ginger and Rocky Rhodes, the primary protagonists from the first film alongside memorable characters like the addled and prone-to-fainting Babs.

The new movie is decidedly less grounded in reality (not that a movie featuring talking chickens ever really was in the first place). While the first film took place shortly after WW2, the new film features out of place technological gadgets.

Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget premieres on Netflix December 15.
