Mermaid raising sim game my Mermaid announced

my Mermaid

Studio Sledgehammer has announced my Mermaid, a new mermaid raising sim for unannounced platforms.

Details on my Mermaid like a release date, platforms, and more are scant – but the game will be fully revealed during Tokyo Game Show 2022, which will take place from September 15 to 18 in Chiba Japan.

Here’s a rundown on the game:

What is “my Mermaid-“?

My Mermaid” is a brand-new mermaid raising game in which you can enjoy aquarium-forming while spending a healing life with beautiful and unique mermaids called “my mermaids”.

Give lots of love to your own “my mermaid”!

In this game, the player, who has a special power to interact with mermaids, helps them regain their “true power” to purify the world while deepening their bond with mermaids.

At first, the mermaids cannot speak human language, but as they grow up, they will be able to communicate with each other…?

To celebrate the release of the demo video at the Tokyo Game Show 2022, we are also conducting a survey! Don’t miss the chance to have your chosen voice reflected in the mermaids!

A soothing immersive experience like gazing into an aquarium

The game features an “Aquarium Forming” system that allows the user to create an underwater world at will. Grow aquatic plants, place antique chairs, build houses, castles, and more… the possibilities for aquarium forming are endless.

New information will be released as it becomes available. Please look forward to further information on this work.

Introduction of My Mermaid

Tosa Nishiki

Tosa Nishiki is a goldfish with a large, flattened, inverted tail. It is sometimes described as the “underwater ballerina” or “queen of goldfish” for the beauty of its tail. It swims slowly and has a delicate constitution.

Rhabdochromis caeruleus

A type of cichlid with a beautiful bright yellow coloration. A “mouse brooder” that takes eggs into its mouth immediately after spawning and protects them from external enemies until they hatch. They are highly territorial and aggressive.

Seibungyo

Depending on the way the light hits them, goldfish produce a unique and beautiful color that is neither silver nor black. In China, it was described as indigo blue. As the color fades, it is called hagoromo, and when the color fades further and the whole body becomes white, it is called pai feng.
